Wallangarra Seeing the White Gum, 2021

Artistic data visualisation ‘Wallangarra Seeing the White Gum’ was created for the QUT Sphere, at Queensland University of Technology, Australia. The video is computer generated and based on data, with wholly synthetic imagery (no photography or video). It seeks to communicate the challenges Australian eucalypts are facing, visualise the efforts of citizen scientists to understand these and engage audiences in an evocative reminder of the Australian Gum.
